This I added in because of the technique. I tried it on a lot of different riders, with mixed success...this was one of the better ones (see the Captex Tri gallery for other "good" ones).

Essentially this is a pan and a zoom. I started by following the rider (like you would for a normal pan shot) and then when i pushed the shutter release i zoomed from 55mm to ~100mm or so, pretty neat effect i thought

The main subject of this photo is the "I love brew" bottle cap. A shallow depth of field draws your attention from the bright colors (not colours!!) of the blue and red bottle caps to the "I love brew" cap. I also put the Bombardier cap where the English flag and word "English" are partially in the area of sharp focus as a shout out to all the British Photo Club members.

I did some color correction in PS so Neil's rating got deleted...

Yep that's a dolphin... While we were in India we visited many people's homes. When there Jenni always got a gift, at one home we were given this. It is a plastic thing that has dolphins coming out of the base and then the base has two couples that spin around "dancing". The music that is played can only be described as rave-ish...the light in the base blinks, which is why there are distinct points shown in the dancers spin rather than a continuous line. I like the shape of the spinners and the colors in the dolphin look pretty cool.
